Dressage displays the power, obedience, strength and intelligence of a horse and its rider. Riders and horses complete a sequence or a freestyle event. Dressage freestyle is often called Dancing on "Horseback". The sport of dressage is formal, requiring years of training for the horse and rider to competitively participate.
