Mary Magdalene is depicted as a faithful servant, clothed in a modest green garment, with a flowing rose-colored apron and a blue sash, she bears a clay jar in her hand. In this, she calls to mind her devotion to the Lord, as one who ministered unto Him with a humble and steadfast heart.

Mary of Magda was a woman whom Jesus healed of demon possession. She is one of few women who is repeatedly mentioned in the gospels following the Christ. She was, also, the first person Jesus appeared to after he rose from the dead.
